Lamont Pridmore, which has locations in Carlisle, across Cumbria and Lancashire, impressed the judges with the level of support it has for businesses large and small.

The awards ceremony, held at the General Practitioners Society in London, was attended by more than 250 influential leaders from across the family business community.

Lamont Pridmore narrowly won the award in the field of 10 finalists but has won several titles in previous years at the family business awards.
