The peak was in the 50s for the Front Range today it’s foggy and drizzly – add to that smoke from the Canadian wildfires..and it looks pretty overcast outside.
Our poor air quality will last until 9 a.m. Saturday, after which the winds will change direction and cut the smoke into eastern Colorado.
The change of wind will also heat up our temperature! The weather should warm up again in the mid to above 70 degrees Celsius over the weekend, but daily showers and thunderstorms are likely to continue.
The highest temperature will reach close to 80 degrees early next week with a slightly lower chance of rain.
Another cold front will arrive next Wednesday and increase the chance of showers and thunderstorms.
