Talia Oatway, ex-girlfriend of Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmer, has shared the first photos of their third child Oakley, as she opens up about “the hardest seven months of my life”.
The 31-year-old introduced their son with congenital Apert Syndrome to her 372,000 followers on social media.
Talia has not publicly spoken about Oakley’s medical condition until now, the report of Mirror. According to Great Ormond Street Hospital, the condition is a rare genetic syndrome, “caused by a mutation in a specific gene” that affects the skull, face, hands and feet.
She explained in the caption: “This is OAKLEY. It was the hardest 7 months of my life.
“I was thrown into a medical world, with no warning, no time to prepare. Only now do I feel like I’m accepting everything, finally coming to terms with my feelings. ourselves, embrace our new normal.
“This is my beautiful son Oakley Bleu, he was born with a rare genetic syndrome called Apert Syndrome.”
She adds: “Apert syndrome causes premature healing of sutures in the skull, giving the head a different shape. Syndactyly – fusion of bones in the hands and feet.) Cleft palate causes difficulty eating and speaking.
“Choanal stenosis (narrowing of the airways) makes breathing difficult. Apert syndrome often causes global developmental and learning delays. (Oakley sleeps on a ventilator) and oxygen use.
“Oakley has a long way to go, this is a long journey of a lifetime and it won’t be easy. But my son, you have shown me how strong you are! Talia was emotional about her son, adding: “I am so proud of this boy, he has shown me that nothing is important in this world but health and love. It took me a while. The 31-year-old model mother has received a lot of support, with reality TV star Olivia Bowen commenting: “So precious. You both are doing great. What a hero” alongside a string of icons red heart emotion.

Talia and Aaron broke up in December after she first started dating Geordie Shore in 2017. The couple had a very flourishing romance and broke up several times during the relationship. of them before they broke up last year.
