7Weather- Today’s weather is a good reason to rest and stay indoors! It will rain for quite some time during the day. Strong winds especially along the coast. High stay cooler. This week, clouds are hard to dissolve, showers are scattered and the highest level is mainly at 50 degrees Celsius.
Worcester and Middlesex Counties have received about 1″ or more of rain so far (total around 10 a.m.). The heaviest rain fell around Springfield and south to Connecticut.
Make time for the rest of the day. By 5 pm, we will see the heaviest and most regular rain. You probably won’t get rain across the Cape until the strip shifts further east in mid-afternoon. By tonight, the rain will shift to the north and east, mainly along the coast. For Worcester County, you will clear up but are likely to be left with fog and wet foggy conditions.

Today’s high will not rise much. Inland towns will max out in the low/mid 50s. The coast will be near 50°/low 50s.

It will be windy today. The wind blows from the southeast, so it feels cooler on the coast with the wind blowing from the cool waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Wind gusts will reach 30-35 mph near the coast today. Not the best day to use an umbrella!

Some rain lasted tonight. Tomorrow morning, we will wake up with a lot of clouds. Our most interesting score falls on the low/mid 40.

Tomorrow the low will be just above us, so that should keep the possibility of showers in the forecast. Separate showers are possible in the morning, with a few mid-afternoon showers.

Hopefully you enjoy the wet weather and cooler temperatures. We keep a daily chance for a shower or two in the forecast through Thursday. It won’t wash out everyday, but don’t put that umbrella too far away. The high will be in the middle/above 50 years of age.
