Rob Burrow is a legend of the Leeds Rhinos but more than that, he is a legend of rugby league and certainly English rugby league.
Shaun Wane’s England team will play France today while wearing a shirt in honor of Burrow and the Motor Neurone Disease Association, while also raising money for charity as Burrow continues to battle MND .
Now, the England team has all paid a tribute to Burrow.

This comes as coach Shaun Wane pays homage more broadly to one of his favorite enemies at Wigan Warriors.
I said:
“I have watched Leeds many times and he is always at the top of the list. Whether he played the first half or the ninth, he was always an incredible ball carrier and very destructive,” Wane said of Burrow.
“He is very sharp and always a threat. I’m a huge fan of Rob Burrow and I always have been, and the way he’s dealing with his illness says a lot to him.
“How he and his family with the dignity they showed and the humility were amazing and it shows you how much our game cares.
“We are all one big family and we take care of each other and this is another testament to that.”
