The weather agency on Thursday predicted that the national capital could see light to moderate rain on Friday, while a ‘yellow’ warning has been issued for 15 July. Delhi has light rain on Thursday, exacerbates severe flooding in the low-lying part of the city – the area where it is located. Brief light rains have occurred in central and southern parts of Delhi, including areas such as Lajpat Nagar, Saket, Malviya Nagar, Hauz Khas and Jangpura. The minimum temperature was stable at 26.2 degrees Celsius, lower than the average for the season. The highest temperature recorded was also 34.2 degrees Celsius lower than normal.
