ONE American YouTuber famous for Thai people is about to participate in the “Influencer Boxing” contest competition in the UK today (Saturday). With over 13 million subscribers on YouTube, 30 years old Nathan Bartling has become a household name in Thailand and is proud to represent the country he now calls home. “I never thought that one day I would live in Thailand. Before coming to Thailand, I didn’t know much about it, only knew Taiwan. It must have been fate that brought me here, and I feel so lucky to have come to Thailand.”

Now in its 11th year living in the country, Thailand has become more than just a temporary home for expatriate Americans. Bartling added that he loves Thai culture, the kindness of Thai people and Thailand’s weather. He said that he is proud to represent Thailand in the competition and aims to make Thailand famous. Bartling said whether he wins or loses he will fight hard.

“Despite being 100% American, I am honored to be called ‘My Mate Nate from Thailand’,” he wrote.

Combining his love for sport and his dedication to the country that adopted him, fans in Thailand are sure to cheer for him this weekend.

As a contender in the highly anticipated Influential Boxing event, Bartling will face off against other social media celebrities. Boxing fans were buzzing about the event and were eager to see if Nate’s hard work and determination would pay off in the ring.
