Warmer air will return to the state today with high temperatures climbing in the 80s lower than the coast.
Gentle southerly winds will keep temperatures at 70 degrees Celsius at the coast. There will be clouds interspersed with the sun in the afternoon.
Along with some additional clouds, there will still be some clouds above due to wildfire smoke. The good news is that the smoke is not expected to affect surface air quality.
