Bake Off: Home team The Professionals 2023

First appearing on our screens as a contestant on Great British Bake Off in 2017, Liam Charles once again hosts this Bake Off: The Professionals show.

The Junior Bake Off host has hosted the show since 2018 and his six years in the limelight have also seen him release two cookbooks, appearing in the series The Masked The UK’s second dancer and judge in the Platinum Pudding Competition – a nationwide baking competition has been launched to find a brand new type of pudding dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II as a part of the official Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.

While Liam has previously introduced the series to Tom Allen and Stacey Solomon, this year he has a new co-host: comedian, actress and writer Ellie Taylor.

Fans will recognize Ellie for her portrayal of Flo Collins in the American sports comedy-drama Ted Lasso, as well as her strutting stride in last year’s Serious Come Dance series.

Introducing the show, Ellie said: “They said: ‘Do you like this job?’ I said: ‘Is there any cake? Can I eat it? Yes, please.’

This is a man without wisdom. It was a dream performance.”

Liam added on their partnership: “We know what our strengths are and [we] let each other shine. It’s like Rooney and Ronaldo playing strikers for Man United.

“Between shots, we were always dancing and acting silly. It’s cruel. We have the same sense of humour. She met, if not surpassed, my madness.
