A senior Metropolitan Police officer convicted of possessing child abuse videos on her phone has been charged with five additional counts.
Supt Novlett Robyn Williams, 58, who was praised for her work in the wake of the Grenfell Tower disaster, was sentenced to 200 hours of community service for possessing an indecent image in November 2019.
She has now been charged with failing to notify police of the requested information five times between November 22, 2019 and December 11, 2021.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) alleges Supt Williams failed to notify police of details of his credit card, bank account, debit card and travel outside the UK for approximately from 11 to 19 December 2021.
She will appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on June 16.
