We’re waking up to mid to above 60 degrees this Wednesday morning, with a patch of light to moderate rain slowly approaching from the south. This area of rain will overwhelm northern Texas late in the morning and especially into this afternoon. Total rainfall will be less than a quarter of an inch. The heavier total will be east of the DFW. The afternoon peak will only be reached in the mid-seventies.
Showers hit the east tonight, but skies remain cloudy. The morning low will drop to the mid-60s.

Widespread rain will move into the area Saturday. Sometimes the rain can be heavy. Flooding can also be a concern west of I-35W throughout the day. The afternoon high will struggle to reach the mid-70s.
Remaining showers are possible on Mother’s Day, with peaks in the mid-70s again. A cold front passed over the area Sunday night pushing most of the rain south of the DFW on Monday. It will also be cooler, with highs just near 70ﾟ. Tuesday will be partly cloudy and pleasant, with highs around the low 70s.
