Off-season pattern change leads to above-average temperatures
A warm weather pattern will develop over most of the eastern US this week, likely to bring above-average temperatures, with daytime peaks in the 70s and 80s, for around 200 million Americans.
A high-pressure dome is expected to develop across the central and eastern United States, which will allow much warmer air to penetrate areas east of the Rockies, resulting in a feeling of warmth like summer mid or weekend.
