Austin Butler startles Dune 2 fans with bald appearance in new footage

Austin Butler surprised fans with a new bald look in Sand Dunes: Part Two.

Ahead of the official trailer’s release on Wednesday (May 3), the sci-fi sequel’s Twitter account shared the first shot of the film.

In the video, fans are introduced to the newcomers Princess Irulan (Florence Pugh) and Feyd-Rautha (The Butler).

Pugh is shown wearing an elaborate hat, while Elvis the character of actor Feyd-Rautha – the grandson of the villainous Baron Harkonnen (Stellan Skarsgård) – is sculpted completely bald and has no eyebrows.

“JUMPSCARE,” one Twitter user responded about Butler’s new look.

A second person shared a meme of a startled audience, alongside the caption: “Me after opening the Pop Crave announcement about Austin Butler’s character in sand dunes part two.”
