Elliot Page said that he was sick while filming Start due to the stress of feeling “out of place”.
The actor has just published a new memoir, page boy, played Ariadne in Christopher Nolan’s 2010 blockbuster alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Tom Hardy, and Cillian Murphy.
Page wrote in his memoirs that he contracted a case of shingles, which “split off my spine” during filming. The actor believes this is due to the stress of being part of an “all-male cast”.
“Although everyone was a pleasure to work with, I felt lost… I didn’t understand my role,” Page wrote.
“During the first two weeks of the movie, I joked that I would get to act again with Keira Knightley, and rightfully so,” he added.

However, he said Minghella is supportive of them discovering their feelings for each other. “I never thought I could love two people and now I know I can,” Mara told him.
