“Playing a series in India at any level is an exciting challenge, it is one of the truest challenges for any cricketer. It is great that our Lions team has can experience that challenge and have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills under those conditions.”
The tour will begin with a two-day warm-up match against India A (January 12-13), followed by three four-day matches from January 17 to February 4. All the match will be held at Ahmedabad’s famous Narendra Modi Stadium.
“The squad has a core of players who went to Abu Dhabi for the recent training camp, with a number of players having been selected for the Test squad.
