Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne has updated fans on her father’s “medical complications” following reports that his family is “preparing for the worst”.
Foxx was taken to the hospital a month ago after suffering an undisclosed illness, Corinne announced at the time.
In the weeks since, conflicting accounts have emerged about the 55-year-old star’s status with radar reported this week that his family is “hoping for the best but preparing for the worst”.
Corinne specifically revealed the online publication’s report in a statement shared on her Instagram on Friday (May 12).

“Actually,” she continued, “he was pitching yesterday! Thank you for everyone’s prayers and support! We also have an exciting job announcement next week!”
Corinne herself revealed on April 12 that Foxx had “experienced a medical complication”.

“Honor all the love!!! Feeling Lucky [prayer, heart and fox emoji],” the actor shared on his Instagram Story.
