Jamie Lee Curtis posted a tribute to his former co-star and “cinema daughter” Lindsay Lohan.
Curtis and Lohan starred in the 2003 comedy crazy friday together, play a mother and daughter forced to look from the other’s point of view as they mysteriously wake up in each other’s bodies.
On Friday (April 28), Curtis posted a collection of photos of Lohan at what appeared to be her baby shower.
“My friend and movie daughter @lindsaylohan are growing up!” the Oscar winner wrote in the caption. “It was emotional for her. She will be a great mother.
In the photo, Lohan, 36, holds her pregnant belly and smiles with friends.
Fans and celebrities shared their appreciation for Curtis’ post.
Selma Blair commented: “I am so happy to be happy. Big love @lindsaylohan”.
Another commenter shared positive wishes for Lohan’s upcoming motherhood journey. “She will get the parenting done!” They write. “She has been through a lot in life and seems to have landed in a wonderful place. Always cheering for you, Lindz!
Of course, many people were excited about Curtis mentioning crazy friday. “One of my favorite movies you guys have made!” read one comment, before the fan added: “Congratulations new mom!”
Another took the opportunity to ask about the possibility of a family movie sequel, writing: “When are we? Freaky Friday: Sequel? The world deserves it.”
