Key moments in King Charles’ coronation
The first official portrait of King Charles after his coronation has been published.
Buckingham Palace tweeted the photo, in which the king posed with a crown and scepter, after three days of celebrations marking the event’s coming to an end.
It comes after a number of royals took part in The Big Help Out on Bank Holiday Monday, a day of volunteering aimed at bringing communities together and creating a lasting legacy of volunteering since the end. coronation week.

Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murty surprise volunteers at lunch club
Diners at a local lunch club in Hertfordshire said they felt “really lucky” after the prime minister’s surprise visit as part of the Big Help Out programme.
Local residents, mostly elderly, were served lamb stew and wine by “very special guests” Rishi Sunak and his wife, Akshata Murty, in the dining room of the Mill End Community Center. at Rickmansworth.

Local councils spent the most money on the King’s Coronation
Local councils across the UK will spend more than ÂŁ3.8m of their own money on coronation events with research showing that some people have spent tens of thousands of pounds on events over the weekend of the bank holiday.
Findings from open democracy comes amid a cost of living crisis, which has seen councils warn they will need to find an extra ÂŁ2.4bn this year to cover rising energy prices and cost pressures inflationary.

The 5-year-old sits on Prince William’s lap as the two move the dirt on the excavator.
He then supported the spade, before taking a break from earning a lot to enjoy some fun with the Boy Scouts – an association the Princess of Wales has been co-chair of since 2020.
