Eden Gardens in Kolkata is set to host the KKR vs PBKS IPL 2023 match on Monday, May 8. It is a back-to-back match between the two sides and a must-win for both teams. Punjab Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders earlier this season.

KKR is ranked eighth on the scoreboard. They won their last game against SRH with five runs in a thrilling finish. Varun Chakravarthy secured 9 points in the final to win for KKR in the game. They need to win all their remaining matches to qualify for the knockout stages.

PBKS was ranked seventh on the scoreboard and lost the last match in this competition. Punjab’s pitchers were unable to defend the number 214 even though the batters did well. They won only one of the five games played in Mohali. All are high score clashes.
