Sticking to chatting, pairing, boys and girls “pull each other to chat” –love island is back for season 10 with a whole new set of islanders.

The new summer series kicks off Monday, June 5, with Maya Jama returning to host duties after her debut on the winter edition earlier this year.

Jama proved to be a charismatic and very popular host for the winter show, which was filmed in South Africa and won by Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan.

It was recently revealed what training the love island contestants were brought out before the debut, in line with the ITV2 show’s care process.

All contestants in the summer 2023 series completed training and video tutorials on a variety of topics, including respectful behavior in relationships, behavioral patterns related to control and coercion, and language around disability, sexuality, race and ethnicity, and violations.

Ruchee Gurung

Year old: 24

Ruchee said she’s “the type of girl who likes to have sex, but so far it hasn’t worked out for me”. She said she was “caring”, adding: “My love language is gift giving, so I’m a real giver when it comes to relationships.”

The beauty revealed that there are two things that make her “hate”: “Boys without ambition” or “Boys with white jeans and red sneakers”. They are a fashion not to have, she said.

Single Ruchee since Tuesday’s episode (June 13) and is in danger of being dumped off the island.

Catherine Agbaje

Year old: 22

Job: Commercial real estate agent

Catherine said she can “talk out of ear” and is “always smiling, always happy, always smiling”.

She wants to emphasize that her teeth are real teeth, not veneers, and she has two degrees – a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology and a master’s degree in Real Estate.

Catherine is paired with André. The pair were originally paired together, but were briefly split when Zachariah chose to reunite with Catherine.

Mehdi Edno

Year old: 26

On how to flirt with girls, Mehdi said: “I just start by speaking French, which usually gets girls interested.”

He added that, when looking for a mate, “appearance is important but not everything”, and that he also appreciates “a sense of humor and an outgoing and adventurous person”.

Mehdi and Whitneywhom he had his first date with on Tuesday (June 13).

Molly Swamp

Year old: 21

Molly said she doesn’t hang out much or use dating apps because she’s “really pretty old-fashioned,” so she decided she wanted to meet someone in the Mansion instead.

She said she lives “on a farm with her mother, father, sister, grandmother, grandfather, aunt, uncle, cousin, cousin’s husband, baby and their chicken”.

In Thursday’s episode (June 8), Molly dared to kiss the three islanders with whom she felt the most sexual tension, one of them being Zach, who also chose to kiss her in the game – this clearly angered Mitchell.

Molly is paired with Mitchel but did say she was definitely not “declared”, saying she wanted to chat with Zach more.

On Tuesday’s episode (June 13), Mitchell chose to reunite with Molly.

Tyrique Hyde

Year old: 24

Tyrique, like many, many Islanders before him, said he’s “not afraid to go after what I want”.

Talking about interesting facts about himself, he said: “I am deaf in my right ear. I have a tattoo next to the one on my left that represents the strength and power of my good tattoo.” He also said he’s best friends with his ex love island star Toby Aromolaran.

Tyrique is paired with Leahafter being combined with Ella before.

Ella Thomas

Year old: 23

Ella said she knows what she wants out of life and that she has a “kind heart”, noting that she is a “respectable wife”.

Talking about her popularity, she added: “I was in a music video for Headie One and Burna Boy and I was a supporting actor in the movie. World War Z. I was 12 when I was filming and I got to meet Brad Pitt, which was great.”

Ella is single after Leah reunited with her former partner, Tyrique, on Tuesday (June 13). As a result, she is in danger of being dumped off the island.

Michelle Taylor

Year old: 26

“I thrived being a gentleman,” says Mitchell. “I will give you flowers, I will take you on a date, I will fill your nightstand drawer with your favorite sweets and chocolates.”

But Mitchel is “really picky,” so he will only do this to a girl who doesn’t “ick” him for the following reasons: “Food in teeth and counting money on hands – when a girl stands a bar that counts coins to pay for drinks, it’s not for me!”

During a challenge on Thursday, June 8, Mitchel was asked to kiss the islanders he found most attractive next to his partner, and he kissed Ella.

Mitchel paired up with Mollywhom he seems to be incredibly stable with even though Molly suggests he should get to know other girls.

Jess Harding

Year old: 22

“When a guy does a stunt for money, it’s a bad thing. Show off all their designer clothes because most of the time they are probably fake!” she speaks. “Other [ick] is when a boy runs after a train and the train goes without him. Lunch boxes too – just go to Tesco and get a meal deal!

Jess added that she’s “a really good girlfriend”, saying she “has a pretty big personality and I have a heart of gold”.

Jess is paired with Sammy.

André said: “Honestly, I would say that I fell too fast. When I look at beautiful women, before I say hello to them, I’m already in love. I’ve already planned the wedding.”

When asked what he brought to the villa, the business owner replied: “I am very charming, I will bring good looks and some language lessons. I will teach other islanders Portuguese, Spanish, and a little Creole. I think I’ve had every piece of cake.

André married Catherine. After Zachariah decided to match her on Wednesday, June 7, they briefly broke up, but reunited on Tuesday (June 13).

On what upsets him, Zachariah said: “I have two children and both are really stupid; Bad handwriting – I have bad handwriting so they need to write better than me and twerking, I really don’t like twerking!”

He also said that he loves his cat…so much. “My cat is such an important part of my life, I truly love it. His name is Frank, I named him about 10 years ago – his full name is Frankie G Swagger Don, I treat him as if he were my son, I will miss him. a lot when i stay in the villa.

After entering the mansion like a bomb, Zachariah chose to snatch Catherine from André.

Zachariah is paired with Charlotteafter she chose to partner with him on Tuesday (June 13).

He was previously paired with Catherine and also expressed romantic love for Molly, with whom he shared a kiss earlier on Tuesday’s episode. Molly has said that she’s also open to getting to know him.

Whitney Adebayo

Year old: 25

Whitney joined the mansion on Wednesday, June 7 as Bombshell, and immediately formed a connection with Andre. However, the four-year age gap is repeatedly mentioned as a potential barrier to a relationship.

“Sometimes I’m too much to handle, maybe people are intimidated by me. I know what I want and I’m picky,” she said before joining the show.

Original Sammy

Year old: 22

From: Kent

Job: Project management

Sammy joined the mansion on Thursday, June 8 as Bombshell, after which he chose to take out Ella, Molly, and Jess on speed dates. However, none of their connections proved particularly strong.

When asked to pick out three of the most important things he looks for in a partner, Sammy said: “She must have a good parasite, a great personality and a family oriented “.

He also said that Onion star Madelyn Cline is “the perfect girl”.

Sammy is paired with Jess.

Charlotte Sumner

Age: 30

From: Bournemouth

Occupation: Dental nurse

Charlotte is one of two Bombshells new to the mansion midway through the end of Monday, June 12.

When asked why she competed on love island, the dental nurse replied, “My friends and family kept telling me to sign up for Love Island so I thought, why not? Given my age and the experience I’ve had, I feel ready to meet my Mr Right.”

Charlotte is paired with Zachariah after she chose to match him on Tuesday (June 13).

Leah Taylor

Age: 27

From: Manchester

Occupation: Business owner (Social Media Marketing)

Leah is the second Bombshell to join the series on June 12, alongside Charlotte. She is not currently associated with anyone.

When asked about the “elevator pitch” she would make to entice someone to date her, the islander replied, “Honestly, I have a lot of love to give and Being in love is the best thing you’ve ever experienced.

“I’m ready for everything that comes with it and the hardships you have to go through to make that commitment and find someone.”

Leah paired up with Tyrique after she chose to match him on Tuesday (June 13).

George Fensom

Year old: 24

George said he’s bringing “daddy and dancing dad jokes to the Mansion” and that he’d love to meet a girl who could bring in “even more jokes” than he could, though doubts whether it is “physically possible”.

He said he was “the first to kick the vibe,” adding: “I’m always dancing, I’m always the one who wants to go out.”

George was the first island resident to be evicted from the mansion.
