Oxford United U18s meet Sutton United in Merit League on Saturday morning

The match starts at 11am at VBS Community Stadium.

Sutton United are in 10th place in Merit League One, five points behind the U team for having played the same number of games.

The Under-18s will be looking to build on their results and stellar performance last game as they beat Plymouth Argyle 3-0 at home, thanks to three goals in the second half.

Coach Chris Hackett told us

“We are very proud of how the boys reacted to Plymouth. They’ve been through a rough couple of weeks, so their psychology and bonding, both socially and physically, have been noticed.

“Sutton is a good team and we really need to build on that end result with another good performance, but we know they won’t make it easy for us.
