Holiday weekend outlook

RICHMOND, Va. — The sky will be partly to cloudy today, with more sun in the north and more clouds in the south. There could be a few showers across southern VA later in the day, and a few showers could reach Richmond later this evening. Highs will range from the mid-60s to the lower 70s. It will be light winds with gusts above 20 mph.

Showers will spread northward overnight. The lowest will be at 50.

Sunday will be cloudy, wetter, cool and windy. It won’t rain all day, but occasional showers will move across the area. A few thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon. The peak will be in the 60s.

Memorial Day & Tuesday will be cloudy with a chance of scattered showers and storms. It will be slightly humid with high temperatures from the low to mid 70s.

Wednesday is likely to see a few more scattered storms with highs of 75-80.

Thursday will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid-80s lows.

Friday will be partly cloudy and hotter with highs near 90.

The high next weekend will be at 80.
