Netflix is getting a notable addition to its service next week.
Among the many original titles on the streaming platform, there will soon be a licensed acquisition that users have been waiting for more than a year.
Typically on Netflix, the most recent season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine was added between January and March.
However, the eighth and final season of the sitcom, which aired in the US in 2021, never arrived in 2022.
This is most likely because the show’s network, NBC, has the exclusive right to recommend the series on its specialized streaming service, Peacock.
Luckily, it was enough time for the final 10-episode season to be added to Netflix. It will arrive on April 20.

“Long enough, the program ends in 2021,” said one user.
The series, which first aired in 2013, stars Andy Samberg as a police detective, alongside Melissa Fumero, Stephanie Beatriz, Andre Braugher, Terry Crews, and Joe Lo Truglio.

The cast paid tribute to the series after the final episode aired in September 2022.
Members of the cast shared their reactions to the film’s final conclusion on social media.
Crews, who plays Terry Jeffords, wrote: “What an adventure!! This show has meant a lot to me over the years, and I know it means a lot to all of you. Thank you, lots of love, and NINE-NINE FOREVER!!!!.”
