Predator’s million-dollar franchise is getting a prequel, and reviews have been flooded.

Prey’s previews have left it 94% on Rotten Tomatoes and 69% on Metacritic.

Bringing audiences back before the first four films took place, Prey is set in 1917 and follows a fierce and skilled warrior named Naru.

When an unknown predator begins to hunt Naru’s tribe, Naru fights back – only to learn that her prey is a highly evolved alien with an arsenal of advanced technology.

Fans of the Predator movie will know that there will be plenty of action and suspense. Here’s what you need to know about the film and how you can watch it in the UK.

How to watch Prey in the UK

Prey is being released on Hulu in the US. However, many other countries, like the UK, do not have access to Hulu.

Luckily, UK audiences will still be able to see the film, as it will go straight to Disney+ via the platform’s Stars channel without a theatrical release.

Prey Disney + release date

Prey will go live on Disney+ on August 5 in the UK and across most other international Disney+ markets.

Amber Midthunder will star as Naru, while Dane DiLiegro plays the Predator she’s been hunting.

The rest of the cast will feature Dakota Beavers as Taabe, and Stormee Kipp, Michelle Thrush, and Julian Black Antelope in unspecified roles.
