Employees of various airlines are planning strikes, with some British Airways employees at Heathow, plus the crew of Spain-based Ryanair and easyJet, threatening to drop wages. .

It follows UK service providers, overwhelmed by new demand for their services, were told to cut schedules in advance to avoid cancellation of their day flights this summer.
