Speaking of Afghanistan, Hasmatullah Shahidi will lead the Afghans in this ODI series after Mohammad Nabi resigned as captain of the white team after the T20 World Cup. Rahmanullah Gurbanz, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Noor Ahmad and Rahmanullah Gurbanz who played in the IPL are back in the national team. Dasun Shanaka will lead the Sri Lankan team in the ODI series. The Asian Cup Last year’s win is still his biggest achievement as Sri Lanka captain.
