Oliday makers are forced to spend more than £1000 flying to popular European destinations during the summer as the cost of overseas travel rises.

The cost of summer vacations has plummeted in recent years due to a drop in demand in the wake of the Covid pandemic.

But prices are skyrocketing after bookings surged in recent months following the UK government’s decision to remove all Covid travel restrictions.

“It’s achievable because the rules are much simpler and the confidence is also much higher. The demand will be huge. People are going back to where they know and love.”

All Covid travel measures were canceled in the UK last month despite Covid cases continuing to rise.
