Superman and Lois cast: Fans left outraged over ‘baffling’ season 4 cull

Superman & Lois fans were outraged after a “confusing” decision ahead of the new season.

The future of the series was called into question when the CW hesitated to announce an extension. H

However, it has been revealed that the series will indeed return for a fourth season of 10 episodes – albeit in a different form than usual.

According to a new report, seven regular films will no longer be a permanent fixture on the show due to budget cuts.

These include Erik Valdez (Kyle Cushing), Inde Navarrette (Sarah Cortez), Wolé Parks (John Henry Irons), Dylan Walsh (Sam Lane), Emmanuelle Chriqui (Lana Lang), Tayler Buck (Natalie Lane Irons) and Sofia Hasmik (Chrissy Beppo).

Duration reports that there will be an option for all the actors to return in cameos if they are present and if fan demand is high enough.

Viewers of the show are reacting to the news of the “bloodbath” with outrage, with one writing: “Damn, what a blow. I really hope these characters get the punishment they deserve if this is the final season.”

Journalist Stephen Patterson called the decision “confusing,” adding: “It looks like this is going to be a completely different show coming up.”

“This is ridiculous. I hope it doesn’t affect the quality of the season,” wrote one viewer, while another said: “I’m sorry to hear that many supporting actors have been cut from their usual roles, very cool and an integral part of this series!”

Many shared their sympathies with the actors, with one writing: “I hope they get on their feet.”
