Tom Cruise among those planning Barbie-Oppenheimer double feature

It’s less than a month away before two of the biggest movies of the year are released on the same day – and Tom Cruise is excited.

As a result, audiences have been planning to see these two blockbusters as a dual movie and are currently debating the order in which to watch them.

Cruise, who has his own summer action movie Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One which debuted on July 10, expressed a desire to see the films again.

In a tweet shared on Wednesday (June 28), the 60-year-old man Top Guns the star also praised Harrison Ford in his fifth and final Indiana Jones film, Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Fateis released in cinemas today (June 28).

“This summer is packed with great movies to see in theaters,” Cruise wrote.

“Congratulations to Harrison Ford on 40 years of Indy and one of the most iconic figures in history. I like a dual feature and it’s no more explosive (or more pinkish) than one with Oppenheimer And Barbie doll.”

Cruise is known for enthusiastically promoting the film industry. Earlier this year, it was filmed Steven Spielberg telling the actor he had “saved Hollywood” thanks to his $1.5 billion gross. Top Guns revival, Maverick.

In the seventh movie in Mission Impossible In the franchise, Cruise teams up with Avengers star Hayley Atwell to track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens humanity.

For the most part, critics leaned toward Cruise and the film’s spectacular action sequences. Back in April, the star treated Cinemacon attendees to an “epic” 20-minute motorcycle chase scene in the film, in which the 60-year-old action star bombed around the Italian capital.
