CinemaCon attendees were treated to 20 minutes of Tom Cruise bombing around Rome with various cars and motorcycles in a special preview of the show. Mission Impossible – Deadly Calculation Part One on Thursday (April 27).
Saturday in Mission Impossible The franchise sees Cruise join forces with Hayley Atwell, who plays a mysterious and “destructive” new character named Grace.
Based on DiversityFestival-goers in Las Vegas were shown a lengthy scene involving Cruise and Atwell “driving at breakneck speed through the streets and alleyways of Rome.”
The pair were apparently handcuffed for much of the chase, which shows them switching from motorbikes to police cars in exchange for scrap yards.
Based on DiversityParamount executives were seen crouching over their phones after the show to inform Cruise – who was not present – of the positive reception from the audience.
The film will hit theaters two days earlier than scheduled, from July 12. The returning cast includes Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby and Henry Czerny.
Cruise appears tonight (April 27) in James Corden’s finale Late Program episode.

According to the presenter, the action star was “resolute” about performing a stunt on the show.
“I mean, think about it. He’s so ridiculous. Eight, nine years ago, Tom Cruise wasn’t even a human being to me. He’s like some sort of Marvel superhero,” Corden told Lorraine Kelly on Thursday.
Last year, Cruise and Corden co-created a sensational aerial stunt from Cruise’s 2022 movie Top Gun: Maverick.
While Corden has kept quiet about the exact details of Cruise’s latest appearance, it’s been reported that the stuntman will see the duo beat up a Broadway show of their own. Lion KingDress up as the personified animal characters Pumba and Timon.
