    1. Professor Sir Chris Whitty, England’s chief medical officer, is giving evidence at the Covid inquiry in England
    2. He said that – early in the pandemic – “all the options were terrible, some were a little worse”
    3. He added that “with the benefit of hindsight, we were a little late” during the first wave of Covid in 2020
    4. Whitty says the way Boris Johnson makes decisions is “unique to him” – but does not criticize the former Prime Minister personally
