UK’s first Nerf indoor entertainment centre opening at Trafford Palazzo this summer

A huge new Nerf experience center is finally set to open inside the Trafford Palazzo. Almost two years ago, plans for NERF Action Xperience (NAX) were first announced.

Sadly it won’t open at the start of the school holiday, but it will open a week or two before schools return, on August 25.

The ‘family-friendly’ experience – the first in a series of NERF Action Xperience locations to be rolled out across the UK over the next five years – will feature ‘a multitude of action-packed indoor activities and arenas’ Themed’.

The attraction will also feature a restaurant from the American-inspired Archie’s chain, known for its high-quality food, sumptuous menu, and flamboyant decor. It will serve up customer favorites, from burgers and fries to waffles and milkshakes.

And it will also feature the UK’s first NERF-specific retail store, an 8,000-square-foot store selling hundreds of NERF products as well as custom-made NERF AX merchandise.

It was all done after Manchester-based Rocafella Leisure entertainment group successfully secured the rights to globally branded entertainment company Hasbro to bring NAX to the UK.

Chris Hayes, chief executive officer of Rocafella Leisure Group, said: “We are delighted to be opening our doors this summer, just in time for the school holidays.

“We have worked hard with our Hasbro partners to arrange and provide, what we know will be, a first-rate venue for dynamic, fun and adrenaline filled activities and challenges for everyone. for all families and adults.

“The UK has never seen anything like this before, so we simply can’t wait for everyone to join us and see what’s in store. It’s going to be a great one. great experience full of action and thrills for everyone.”

The business, inside old Barton Square and next to Trafford’s huge Primark store, has created around 50 new jobs.

Guests will have one hour of NERF play and must be at least 5 years old to play. Children under the age of eight should be accompanied by a paying adult. Children 12 years and under are required to be accompanied by an adult inside the venue at all times. Adults can also play.

Tickets start at £20 – goggles included – and can be purchased online from Thursday, July 13. Join the waiting list to get your tickets now.
