For the 46th year in a row, the tournament was held at the Crucible Theater in Sheffield, England.

When will the 2022 snooker championship take place?

The final will start on May 1 and end on May 2.

This will be the longest match of the tournament with up to 35 frames being played and the winner being the first to reach 18.

There are two sessions on May 1. The afternoon one is eight frames long and the evening action is slightly longer at nine frames.

Eight more matches will be played on the afternoon of May 2 with a maximum of 10 being played until the winner is crowned in the evening.
