A yellow warning was issued for Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigarh and other districts of Maharashtra on Friday.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted moderate to heavy rainfall for the next 5 days in Mumbai, Palghar, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Dhule. According to an announcement by the Regional Meteorological Center, Mumbai, heavy rain is expected in isolated areas of Mumbai for the next 5 days.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is also forecast in isolated areas in Raigad and Ratnagiri.
Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh is still struggling to recover from widespread devastation caused by clouds and floods since last weekend when 108 deaths were reported in the state amid IMD warnings. only about heavy rain until July 18.

The national capital also continued to see flood-like conditions Friday evening in some low-lying areas even as water levels in the Yamuna River were dwindling.
